  • Who is the host travel agency?
    We are partnered with the largest home working travel agency in the world! Our host agency Inteletravel, was established in the US in 1991 and is expanding globally at a rapid pace. Our agency is internationally recognised and partnered with a vast number of travel suppliers. We work with US, UK and Ireland travel suppliers, including household names you will be familiar with - plus a number of industry only suppliers too. Our host agency is a member of ATOL, ABTA, CLIA and IATAN. This strong network of partnerships allows us to offer a wide range of travel options to our customers, ensuring that we can cater to various preferences and budgets.
  • What kind of travel can I book?
    Anything travel related! We have access to it all. Hotels, flights, package holidays, villas, cottages, holiday parks, airport parking and lounges, holiday activities, and excursions. We cover everything from budget to luxury, home and abroad. The only requirement is that you can only book for residents of your country. For example if you are a UK citizen joined via the UK InteleTravel you can only book for UK residents. If you are a US citizen and partnered with the US InteleTravel you can only book for US residents. This is an industry wide regulation.
  • Do I need experience in the travel industry?
    You don't need any prior experience in the travel industry to seize this opportunity. We have extensive FREE training with all of our suppliers as well as in-house company training. While most of us don't have a background in travel, if you do, you will already understand how travel commissions operate. The essential requirements are a love for travel and a readiness to grasp the industry's workings.
  • Do I need to book a minimum amount of travel or hit targets?
    No, there are no minimums or targets. There is no right or wrong way to use this opportunity.
  • Is there a cost to join?
    Yes, just like any business there is a cost. This opportunity offers exceptional value compared to traditional entry costs in the travel industry, which can run into tens of thousands. In contrast, our opportunity is much more cost-effective – see our pricing options on the home page for more. Your initial one-off registration fee covers your official travel industry license (IATA), providing you with professional global travel industry membership and identification. From the second month onwards, a monthly fee will keep your travel license active, and covers your admin, support, insurance and back office systems granting you access to all travel industry booking systems, business tools, and available resources. All training is free If you decide that the business is not for you, simply cancel your subscription. We provide the most budget-friendly path to enter the travel industry.
  • What's the catch?
    That you’ll want to travel even more and everyone will wonder and want to be part of what you do! There isn’t a catch - you are paying for a licensed travel platform which includes booking systems, administrative support and professional travel agency accreditation. This is a ready made, tried and tested business package. The reason some believe it is too good to be true is because there is no other opportunity which can offer the same value and access to the travel industry at such a low cost.
  • Is this opportunity full time or part time?
    This opportunity offers flexibility to become a travel agent and is not a salaried employment. Some choose to use this opportunity for personal bookings whenever they wish, while others enjoy arranging travel for loved ones. Some even opt to create thriving travel enterprises. Whether you see it as a rewarding hobby, a part-time endeavour alongside your current responsibilities, or a means to earn a substantial full-time income, the more effort you invest, the greater the potential for success and financial gain.
  • Do I handle people's money?
    No. Any travel booked is paid via supplier systems online using secure payment links. You would simply send this to the person paying for the travel. Our host agency has everything like this covered for you.
  • How do I get paid?
    Travel commissions are paid online securely via Hyperwallet (part of Paypal) fortnightly, after travel has taken place (standard practice in the industry). Our agency firstly collects the commission for you - and it is then split 70/30 (70% to you and 30% to the agency) - rising to 80/20 after earning £3500 in commissions. This is the highest commission split in the industry. Residual income (if earnt) is paid via Paylution multiple times per month. Affiliate and residual earning are fast becoming the norm and will continue to pay you for years into the future - even if you don’t book travel yourself.
  • What is the network marketing opportunity with PlanNet Marketing?
    Our host agency works exclusively with a separate marketing business (PlanNet Marketing) which uses affiliate marketing to refer people to the travel company. More than 80% of companies now use affiliate marketing. If you want to use your personal affiliate link you can generate additional ways of earning (in addition to travel commissions) multiple times per month. If you refer the travel opportunity to someone else (in qualifying countries) you will earn a minimum of $50 per personal referral, plus generous bonuses. There is no cap on how many referrals you make. You will also be paid residually (continuously and indefinitely) for all previous referrals made. The affiliate opportunity is completely optional and it is your decision how (and how much) you want to earn.
  • Is there an application process?
    No. This is a flexible opportunity (savings and earnings are uncapped) and there are no criteria or requirements to join. The person who introduced this to you will be able to chat through how it could potentially work for you.
  • Can I do this around my full time job?
    You have the flexibility to engage in tasks at your own pace and preference. Even with family or work commitments, many of us manage to squeeze in time during the day to research hotels, send quotes, or explore suppliers from the comfort of our sofas at night. Our team consists of individuals with busy full-time professions such as pharmacists, solicitors, doctors, hair stylists, teachers, stay at home mums and business owners, who all juggle this alongside their jobs or other commitments. If you decide to also take up the network marketing opportunity and help other people get set up as independent travel agents, the process is quick and straightforward. Parents in our team can easily handle tasks while their children are at school and pause whenever necessary.
  • How soon can I start?
    Fill out the contact form located on our home page, and we will aim to get back to you within 48 hours. Once you decide to join The Travel Opportunity as a travel agent, the online registration process only requires 5-10 minutes to get you started. Following that, you will need to complete your online training videos at your convenience. After your mandatory training and assessment to quantify your knowledge is complete, you will be licensed to book holidays. However there are optional supplier training you will have access to should you wish to enhance your knowledge, such as Cruise Specialist. As this is self-paced training, the speed at which you complete it is down to you. Once completed the systems will unlock so you can start using them to book travel.
  • What if I join then decide it's not for me?
    There is no minimum contract term - it’s a monthly rolling fee which is cancellable at any point. There are no penalties, your travel industry credentials will simply no longer be live and any industry trips or outstanding commissions will not be honoured. If you were to decide that being in the travel industry is not for you, we will not try to keep you in it! Note; if you cancel within the first 30 days you can get a full-refund on your initial investment. If you cancel after these 30 days you won't be entitled to a refund and you will forfeit any monthly fee's paid up until this point.
